# Fair Launch Distribution

Fair start for everyone, while rewarding early adopters!

CODEX will be gradually released over the span of 164 weeks, with a decaying emission schedule of approximately 3% every 4 weeks. In other words, 3% less tokens will be distributed in each subsequent period, for a predictable and gradual inflation rate. CODEX distribution stops at week 168 and no more tokens will be created.

For CDO.Finance, 4 week periods will be termed as Epochs and will be our determinant time period for both token distribution, pool allocation, and subsequent CDO tranche lock-in periods. \

Tokens will be rewarded on a per block basis.

Below is our planned amount of tokens to be issued every week, up till week 164 or Epoch 39.
